Pleural Mesothelioma
Cancer of the mesothelium in the lungs is known as
pleural mesothelioma. It accounts for 3 out of 4 mesothelioma diagnoses because

- Persistent Chest Pain
- Difficulty Swallowing

Symptoms of Peritoneal
Mesothelioma
- Abdominal Pain
- Weight Loss
- Nausea / Vomiting
- Bowel Irregularity
- General Fatigue
- Seizures (10 percent of patients)
- Ascites (Fluid)
Cancer of the mesothelium surrounding the heart is known
as pericardial mesothelioma. This is the rarest form of mesothelioma and is
rarely diagnosed while the patient is still alive.
Symptoms of Pericardial
- Difficulty Breathing
- Chest Pain
- General Fatigue
- Weight Loss
- Irregular Heartbeat
- Fever
- Heart Murmurs
